Marumo Gallants Bolster Squad with Three New Signings Ahead of Second Half Push

Marumo Gallants FC have confirmed the signing of three new players as the Bloemfontein-based club looks to strengthen its squad for the second half of the 2025/26 season.

The Bahlabane Ba Ntwa made the announcement on Tuesday, just days after confirming the departures of Daniel Msendami and Mpho Chabatsane to Orlando Pirates on permanent deals.

Gallants have now moved swiftly to reinforce their attacking options, securing two players from abroad alongside one domestic addition.

Two New Faces from Abroad

Among the new arrivals is Romaric Dognimin Ouattara, a 21-year-old centre-forward from Ivory Coast. Ouattara joins from Algerian side Olympique Akbou and is regarded as a powerful presence up front. Standing at 1.90m, the young striker is expected to add physicality and goal threat to the Gallants frontline.

The club has also completed the signing of Emmanuel Lyonze Mwiinde, a 25-year-old Zambian attacker known for his work rate and versatility in the final third. Mwiinde has previously turned out for clubs including Hatta Club, Masafi Sports Club and Al-Salam SC, where he contributed goals and assists across competitive leagues.

Domestic Reinforcement

Completing the trio is South African winger Msindisi Kunene, 24, who arrives with valuable Betway Premiership experience. A dynamic wide player, Kunene previously featured for AmaZulu FC and is expected to bring pace, creativity and depth to Gallants’ attacking play.

Club Statement and Focus Ahead

In a statement, the club welcomed all three players and expressed confidence that they will integrate quickly into the first team as preparations continue for the remainder of the season.

Marumo Gallants are now turning their attention to their upcoming league fixture against TS Galaxy FC, scheduled for 21 January 2026 at Mbombela Stadium, as they look to climb the table in the second half of the campaign.
