Amajita Forward Siviwe Magidigidi Completes Transfer to Europe

Siwelele Confirm Siviwe Magidigidi’s Move to Belgian Side K. Beerschot

Siwelele FC have officially confirmed the transfer of highly rated forward Siviwe Magidigidi to Belgian outfit K. Beerschot V.A., marking a major milestone in the youngster’s career.

The Bloemfontein-based club announced the deal on Friday after the Amajita international travelled to Belgium to finalise the move. Earlier this week, Siwelele revealed that negotiations were at an advanced stage, having previously turned down an initial offer last year, as first reported by iDiski Times.

Persistent talks from the Belgian side eventually led to an agreement, paving the way for the former Ubuntu Academy prospect to continue his development in Europe.

“Siwelele Football Club is pleased to confirm the transfer of our exciting young forward Siviwe Magidigidi to Belgian First Division B side K. Beerschot V.A. following the successful conclusion of negotiations between the two clubs,” the club said in an official statement.

“We are delighted to see Magidigidi take the next step in his journey. Few players earn the opportunity to move to Europe at just 20 years of age, and we are confident he will embrace this challenge and continue to grow his already impressive talent.

“He leaves with our full appreciation and respect.

“With the deal now completed, preparations for the second half of the season are well under way. Supporters can expect announcements on new signings in the coming days as we strengthen the squad and push for improved performances and results.”
