Bafana Bafana will play Ghana next week in their final home fixture before jetting off to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
Coach Hugo Broos’ men will host the Black Stars in Gauteng on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, with the exact venue to be confirmed in the coming days.
The squad is scheduled to fly out to Morocco the following day as preparations intensify for AFCON 2025, which runs from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026. A total of 24 nations will contest the title across nine venues in Morocco, with Côte d’Ivoire entering as defending champions.
Bafana Bafana have been drawn into Group B, where they will take on Egypt, Angola and Zimbabwe. Their tournament opener is set for 22 December 2025, when they face Angola in Morocco.
