Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that the team has resumed training at the start of the new year as preparations intensify for a busy period across domestic and continental competitions.
With the Africa Cup of Nations set to conclude on 18 January, Amakhosi will quickly shift focus back to their 2025/26 campaign. The club will restart its Betway Premiership programme with a fixture against Lamontville Golden Arrows on Tuesday, 20 January, to be played at FNB Stadium.

In addition to their continental commitments, Kaizer Chiefs will also be involved in important Betway Premiership and Nedbank Cup fixtures during this period. The condensed schedule will require careful management as the team looks to remain competitive across all three competitions for the remainder of the season.
