Kaizer Chiefs Bosses Call Puso Dithejane and His Father

Chiefs’ Missed Calls Reveal Active Push to Bring Back Puso Dithejane

Kaizer Chiefs have made fresh contact with former academy product Puso Dithejane, reigniting speculation over a possible return to Naturena.

TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has confirmed that senior Chiefs figures have been trying to reach the in-form attacker, who has enjoyed a breakout season since leaving the Soweto giants.

Speaking on Ikwekwezi FM, Sukazi revealed that Dithejane recently showed him several missed calls from Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr, club scout Tera Maliwa, DStv Diski Challenge coach Vela Khumalo, as well as confirmation that Football Manager Bobby Motaung had contacted the player’s father.

“It seems Kaizer Chiefs are still in the wooing process,” Sukazi said. “Bobby has spoken to the boy’s father, but he advised him to speak to me directly about Puso.”

Sukazi stressed that TS Galaxy have no issue with clubs speaking to players, but made it clear that Dithejane remains under contract in Mbombela.

“If Chiefs come to us officially, we will sit down, listen to what they put on the table and take it from there,” he added.

Chiefs Plot Dithejane Return After Galaxy Star Shows Missed Calls

Dithejane’s name has gathered serious momentum this season after producing eye-catching numbers in the Betway Premiership, performances that have also placed him on the radar of Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

The potential reunion carries extra intrigue given how Dithejane left Naturena, following the well-documented ball-boy incident that saw him released before rebuilding his career at Galaxy.
