AFCON 2025 Match Schedule & Results Tracker
The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) kicks off in Morocco with 24 nations competing for continental glory. Like most international tournaments, AFCON begins with a single round-robin group stage, featuring six groups of four teams.
Each team plays three group matches. The top two teams in each group, along with the four best third-placed sides, advance to the Round of 16, after which the tournament moves into a straight knockout format.
The draw for the finals was conducted on 27 January 2025 in Rabat.
