Orlando Pirates have confirmed the capture of Daniel Msendami and Mpho Chabatsane from Marumo Gallants, marking their second and third signings of the January transfer window.
The Buccaneers have reached a full agreement with Bahlabane Ba Ntwa for the two midfielders, who will link up with the Mayfair-based club with immediate effect. Their arrivals follow the earlier announcement of former Stellenbosch FC forward Andre De Jong.
In a statement released on Tuesday afternoon, Pirates expressed appreciation to Marumo Gallants for their professionalism throughout the negotiations, while also extending a warm welcome to the new signings as they prepare to wear the famous black jersey of the Soweto giants.
The club confirmed that both transfers were concluded on a permanent basis, with all necessary clearances now being finalised. Once completed, Msendami and Chabatsane will join the rest of the squad currently in camp in the North West Province, where preparations are ramping up ahead of the resumption of the Betway Premiership season.
Pirates believe the duo will add depth, quality, and healthy competition within the squad as they look to strengthen for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.
